Where Vibes Met Votes
In early May, we hosted Tastemakers, an exclusive event bringing together some of Toronto’s most influential voices in food and lifestyle. The goal? To give a first look—and first taste—of potential new menu items and let our guests help decide what could make the cut.
In true Moxies fashion, the experience blended bold flavours with an elevated atmosphere. Guests were invited to taste, score, and share their thoughts on each dish and cocktail, rating them based on taste, presentation, and creativity.
The results are in, and a few clear favourites emerged. Standout dishes included the Mushroom Zen Bowl, Crab Cake and the Hot Baked Crab Dip. On the cocktail side, Pinky Promise was a crowd favourite, quickly earning the title of “drink of the summer.”
Tastemakers was more than just an event—it was a behind-the-scenes look at how our menu comes to life, with a little help from some trusted (and talented) palates. Will these fan favourites make it onto our menu? Stay tuned!
